Large-scale live performance of Imprinting in Gyantz, Xizang province

As the tourism market of the snowy Plateau gradually heats up, as the only county-level live-action performance in Tibet, "The Imprint of Gyantz" will be performed for the first time this year on June 15.

"The Imprint of Gyantse" takes gyantse Dama Field, which is 4,020 meters above sea level, as the site and uses Zongshan, Baiju Temple and Lob Mountain as the background to tell the story of the origin, development and prosperity of Gyantse to the history of resisting the Invasion of The British army, until the peaceful liberation of Tibet ushered in the new life. The whole play is divided into five chapters: The imprint of mountain, the imprint of light, the imprint of prosperous times, the imprint of hero, the Sun that never sets.

According to Gesangdawa, director of the Tourism Bureau of Gyangze County, the show includes many intangible cultural heritage events unique to Tibet, such as Daguo Migo dance, Rixing Zhuo dance, Magejo dance, six-stringed qin playing and singing, Tibetan opera, Wangguo Festival and Dama Festival. The performers are composed of more than 300 local farmers and herdsmen.
